never even finished the movie, it was boring as hell
song of ice and fire is the superior middle earth tale, it has a great ratio of politics to fantasy elements
i derive my love of orcs from mainly wow, true, but i also enjoy 40k ork lore (though my fave 40k race are dark mechanists)

I personally still enjoyed the movies but they could of done so much more with them especially with the extended versions. Like the movies missed out on how our four Hobbits friends saved the shire
