Pandus, the electoral college actually gives an advantage towards small states. What are you talking about?

certain states always stay red or blue, its the smaller states like ohio and Pennsylvania that have a bigger point to population ratio that they are gunning for
biden won in an electoral land slide because he got those big blue states as well as those swing states, which also had a lot of points despite the population
(I'm really bad at explaining things, but maybe this helps in the least bit?)

No thats what i said if he got the big blue states then gunned for the swings the entire mid US is basically pointless

EXACTLY!
the electoral college is bullshit, just need swing states to win so thats all campaigns care about, which defeats the original purpose of an electoral college

Lets face it the odds of a rep winning cali is very slim. But its worth SO many points. Even if they just evened it out with another a state its better. Cuz then when the dems win they didnt campaign mid US anyway and just completely ignore it. They didnt take the time nor cared about the real issues there.

Here's some basic math.
Wyoming is a small red states with a population of 578,759 and 3 electoral college votes. Divide 578,759 by 3 and you get 192,919 per electoral college vote. Which means that 1 electoral college vote equates to 192,919 people in Wyoming.
California is a big blue states with a population of 39.51 million and 55 electoral college votes. Divide 39.51 million by 55 and you get 718,363 per electoral college vote. Which means that 1 electoral college vote equates to 718,363 people in California.
How is it fair that with less people the electoral vote weighs the same?
People in smaller state have more political power because their electoral college vote is weighted heavily towards them. @hell_hound7
