2020 US Presidential Election

Miscigenated couples in America are rare, tbh. Especially bc Anglo-Saxons had a pretty racist culture, to which the US didn't quite purge yet. I just hope one day, this mutual prejudice turns into indifference as it is here.

People aren't obliged to make homogeneous couples and have homogenous children just to "save a race"... Race or Class aren't healthy abstractions to commit. I am from what Brazilians call a "Pardo", a mix of many other Europeans, Indigenous people and Blacks. We comprise of most of Brazil's population with a whopping 43%. I really don't have any obligation to... yk, "fight" for my race by disencouraging miscigenation.

There's some Native American people here that are very into preserving their tribal lineage. It's a noble but pointless endeavor. I went to college with someone that was 100% and he said he absolutely refused to marry someone that wasn't 100%. Would marry someone from another tribe, so Creek, Cherokee, Seminole, etc. but only if they were full. Full is rare now. The last people who speak Cherokee as their first language where I'm from are now dying out.

I don't take pride on my race. I am a majority, but that's really irrelevant for me. I don't judge people who are proud of their race tho. It is noble, ngl... Southerners here are extremely proud of their little miscigenation, for example. South is Brazilian Europe, as it has the largest Eurocentric demographics in Brazil. I am Southeastern.

Depends how you see it my great grandmother is native american. She married an africa american man she wasn't necessarily trying to marry her own tribe . She is in face 100% native american . Even to this day when I started dating my mom always told me (I am african american and native american) . Never marry anyone outside of your race because a white man will never understand what you and your children will have to go through ". So they do have a point and it is true I understand why some want to stay within there tribe .
