The thing about terrorist groups like isis even if you defeat them (like when our soldiers killed their leader) someone just takes their place. One of our k-9 i got the privilege to be around actually killed the dude. But their leader will just be replaced isis will just be replaced. Its a never ending cycle. The root problem is never solved.

You won't effectively destroy ISIS, but you can at least beat them to the point of being a small terrorist group. Like Fujimori did with the Shining Path in Peru.

my guess is his reaction will depend the win margin the more narrow the harder he'll push so i think it comes down to that in the end
