@matchesia i didn't say these are akin to the civil rights riots, those were much more violent and the issues were much more black and white being empathetic to their feelings is me understanding why theyr doing this. humans are not rational actors, we are very emotion-driven, so the argument is saying that theyr emotions are invalid if you want to argue against some of these riots (which were mostly sparked by police agitation btw) "people like that should really be educating themselves more on the issue" how would you educate disgruntled black people that are upset over systemic injustice in the justice system? because to me at least, it seems like your implying that they don't have a reason to be so upset, which is an assertion i heavily, heavily disagree with

These riots and protests are nothing. I think we should just do what they did in the French Revolution. Rise up, decapitate the wealthy, and devour the rich.... Like, ACTUALLY eat them... Just saying, Guillotine Cannibalism worked once...

Don't take it the wrong way, I'm not saying that their emotions are invalid. I think they have all the reason to be pissed off. I am more then aware that humans are very emotional things but rioting is throwing all of these emotions on other people, that may or may not be involved with what their angry about. I get that their upset but I really don't think that what these rioters are doing is going to solve any problems. On how to solve the problem, you solve it like you solve any other problem, you pick out elements that need changing and put a plan into action to change them. BLM as a group in general seem to be pretty terrible at going any further then saying what they think is wrong and even then it's still pretty vague.

@matchesia i rationalize the harm done to innocent peoples businesses by instead of solely blaming the angry citizens, blaming the government that isn't budging if they gave in to the extremely reasonable demands (the demands being 8cantwait) than that damage wouldn't have happened. the blame is two sided, and i think if we look at riots in authoritarian countries we wouldnt be saying 'pft, they should be being peaceful" like the new farcry game is about the public rioting against the dictator, but your not going to say what theyr doing is wrong and theyr harming businesses the situation in America is different, but I'm just extending that logic to this situation. its not a one to one comparison but there is still a correlation "On how to solve the problem, you solve it like you solve any other problem, you pick out elements that need changing and put a plan into action to change them." that is what theyr trying to do, theyr trying to force a neglectful governments hand into acting the protests didn't work, so what should they do? (vote obviously, that is their most powerful weapon, but it isn't that simple either because a lot of these politicians arent going to make such radical changes) people always say "do something else" but what is the else? black people are being executed and no one is doing anything about it just look at the breanna taylor situation, they got off scott free despite an insane amount of negligence (and it appears the ag (or da i forget his exact title) misinformed the jury of their full rights when it came to conviction, so you cant even say it was fair that no real charges were brought against the officers)

I will just state out. Voting system is not the best and I really don't like it which I why I don't vote :p (also I'm lazy ) this is not a debate I'm just stating something I don't like either presidential candidate at this time so I will wait later to vote it's my descion:p
