I didn't really jump in to argue, I jumped in coz I had a different opinion and I wanted to see if I could use my old research muscles to prove my point or change my opinion about it because I am confident with my ability to look at the research data available. I took the damn class a decade ago. I am proud to score a B+ on that subject. Was good enough to be a part of a research team if I went that route. I should have read several more pages before I jumped in. I didn't realize this was really a shouting match than enlightening each other and coming out of it more informed. Oh well. Lesson learned.

Yeah those who's opinions are harmful to others, who's opinions are harassing people, their opinion has no value. I agree with both of you. Lamby and Cero. Trans people have rights. Trans people are human and they are equal to us and they will get the same treatment we get. If a child wants to change their gender, I say give them time. They are children after all. But first, what do you mean by children? Under 20? 18? 16?

puberty blockers so 9 year olds to 17(late bloomers)? Prob depending on certain factors how early they would start, OC.

@amir_bahram the issue is during this time puberty happens and theyr bodies become their sex, which is detrimental to their mental health and exasperated their dysphoria that's why puberty blockers are needed to stop this until the surgery (at 18) or they can stop talking the blockers at any time with 0 negative effects

Well, to be fair, I work in the healthcare field as it is. I have seen those medications in existence already. Them being available for treatment for a condition proves they are safe. I mean they were meant for cancer and unfortunately, cancers exist in children too. I didn't read further, but I bet that you can use them for teenagers at the very least. They might even use it for children under 12. For cancer that is. I bet you they just change the dose for it to become puberty blockers.
