I'll debate you on veganism once you reply to the post I made ages ago. Otherwise, I won't even bother on veganism. Beating on a dead horse kinda gets boring. Most of the pgs on the debate thread is veganism.
If you want to debate whether morality is subjective or objective. I'll do that. But I'll do it at a later time (soon). My ass gotta go for now

aaaaaand thats what i expected
pussy move dude, you'll debate me on the subjectivity of morality but not veganism?
way easier for you to reiterate your statement then for me to go back and find it, but that's exactly what i expected
as far as morals being subjective, ill ask this
is unnessesary murder ever morally justified?
turning it into a hypothetical, timmy goes outside and sees sally, he walks up to her and guts her with a hunting knife. sally was 5 years old and playing dollies. is a grown man murdering an innocent child not objectively immoral?

and ill add onto that, where do you personally derive your moral framework?
for me its empathy, do onto others as you'd have them do onto you.

^yee I think yall just both need to list all those axiomatic objective things that your respective logical truths come from! Until that gets fully written out and known it's really hearsay as to who is the pure logician =p

even from a utilitarian standpoint there is nothing gained from killing or harming someone unnessesarily
like people who say morals are subjective are unintentionally saying 'ye pedophilia can be justified'
like no, morality doesn't work like that
morality is right, wrong, and neutral, and somethings will never be right

maybe social contract you can justify it? but then again that's the sociopathic route and it would be my win

Skelemby has some good points. Also, if one makes morality a totally abstract concept then it's easier to justify horrible actions. That's why some people are fans of it.
