@momoichi Short and simple version of my post is that government regulations on business are bad since only very large multi-billion dollar industries are the only ones who can handle the cost of these regulations. This keeps those businesses in power and doesn't allow for a competitor to get large enough to compete with them. It is basically government regulated monopoly. I shall go to the debate thread with the survival of a zombie situation.

Just a point of clarification. Big business wants regulation that benefits them. They don't want regulation for the sake of regulation. Big business loves less regulation that benefits them. Big oil in the US would not like regulations on fracking. As regulations or an outright ban on fracking affects big oil's bottom line. With or without regulations. You still need money to challenge the big boys. Imagine I wanted to start a cloud company that could compete against Microsoft's Azure or Amazon's AWS. I would have to invest not millions, but billions of dollars. I would have to build cloud infrastructure across the globe. Regulations would very likely hinder my growth. But I still need billions of dollars to compete. Raising money is not really a function of regulation. It is a function of how good of a sales man you are to potential investors. Try to raise billions. Not every average Joe can do that. Apart from that. I pretty much agree with everything you said for regulations. @dyadka_yar
