so i did a quick google search because i wasn't 100% sure or not
from headlines it says they were increasingly breaching the deal
so they were bein a lil snakey
so do you think it would be better for America and the UN, because the deal was they get better trade if they stop, to hold them accountable and keep the deal
or just rip it up?

context
trump
the big negotiator
couldnt get north korea to stop testing missiles, even after kissing his ass
couldn't get the negotiate a better iran deal
and couldn't even get the democrats to vote on any of his bills
like, wasn't his main thing that he was gonna be able to negotiate? the whole 'art of the deal' thing?
obama was able to do more then this guy and Obama tooted his horn way less about it

Brazil rose during the Napoleonic Wars, where Dom João VI (then King of Portugal) had to retreat to our country so Napoleon wouldn't raze Portugal for still being a Monarchy. For a moment, Portugal's capital city was... Rio.
Dom Pedro I, his son, would retake Portugal and rule briefly as Dom Pedro IV after returning to Brazil and declaring our independence. When he died, Portugal was ruled by Maria II and Brazil was ruled by Pedro II, our last Emperor.
In Brazil, the greatest problem stemmed from the local oligarchies opposed to the end of slavery, while the royal famil was part of the Abolitionist Movement and his daughter, Isabel was part of the Black movement, not bc it was "cool" or to just "gain popularity", but because she had an actual concern to end slavery, as (at least Pedro II and Isabel) were Liberals at their time, alongside many congressmen such as Joaquim Nabuco and Ruy Barbosa.
By English pressure, Brazil anolished Slave Trade. But said pressure ends there, contrary to what most revisionist historians claim. Then, Brazil has passed the Sexagenarian Law, where slaves had to be freed when they reached the age of 60.
One might ask: "why in the fuck they didn't end with slavery already. Brazil is literally the only country in the world where slavery was still legal?". Pedro II (and the monarchy in general)'s downfall was the ties with the local oligarchies estabilished by Portuguese politics (that were... kinda inneficient, I admit), and while his daughter was part of the Black Movement, if he showed support, the monarchy would fall into the hands of the same oligarchs who supported slavery.
And when Isabel signed the Golden Law in 1888, effectively abolishing slavery, the military, aligned with the oligarchies toppled Pedro II while he was visiting Paris and exiled the royal family there. Said princess would succeed the throne as Empress.
Isabel had plans to integrate blacks who were enslaved into the economy, so they would at least have something to start their new lives here. A part of Isabel's other politics were passed by Getúlio Vargas.
The republic's founding fathers, including Marshal Deodóro da Fonseca (our first president) deeply regretted toppling the monarchy to favor the republic, who fell into the hands of the oligarchs. A period in which we could call the "Old Republlic"
This is history.
Now, about the more technical details...
