It all began when somebody felt that they would rather deal with issues like this by themselves and when it was suggested that banding people who had a bad breakup was a bad idea. I agree with the latter since that is how the incels got so big. However, these are not controversial things to say and he interpreted them as personal attacks. But the most disturbing thing about it was trying to lay ownership to a "community" which he was not voted into leadership of, nor had any stakes in financially or otherwise. If you have a disagreement, that is fine and I have no issue with it. Trying to force yourself into a position of leadership and authority that isn't earned in order to smash dissenting opinion is not something I will stand for.
