I was wondering, what does the word "Love" mean to you. I will express my philosphical meaning on love after I've heard from some people :)

Love is a very complex topic especially in western cultures. As for myself. hmmmm. I would say it is when a person has a deep affection towards another being that one cant really describe. It is like a force that pulls one in and never lets go. At least that is what I can think of atm. :D

Love is when you just keep a deep happy feeling when you look into someone's eyes. It is being together as a couple but you're also become best friends. When you can look into their eyes and they see the love in your eyes but you still say i love you. It is a complex emotion that makes us weak and strong at the same time. It is whem you have a bad day and the hold you and you instantly feel better.

Devotion, Trust, Risks, Learning, Acceptance, Compromise, Hard work, Selflessness. Just to name a fee words I would describe it with, It's not something that comes easy and it can be great but you have to work for it, you take the risk putting your self out there and being venerable but the pay off can be great, you have to devote your selves to each other and trust each other completely, you learn more about the other person than you even know about your self and accept every bit of who they are, sometimes you'll both have to make compromises but you are both selfless and there for don't mind making those compromises to make the other person happy, and you devote your selves completely to one another.

Love is something complex, but to me it is a commitment to the other person, and for me love is where we both maintain our individuality but choose to spend time together. I'm not in for marriage or anything so I'm a lot more of a person who wants to have a companion whom I can share my life with but we can end it at out own whim.

Love is someone who reminds you to take your dietary medication and not someone who expects a reservation at that four star fancy restaurant.
