@fortunistheghoul I mostly like writing stories and reflections that can be either deep or a little childish and simple . It's been a while since I wrote anything tho ^^'

@ritsu_chii Those are often the best works that a writer can do. When those two are combined, you get very strong statement and deliver a message separate from what is apparently written, almost like speaking with two voices that are saying opposite things. If you feel comfortable with it, inwould love to read some of your work.

Those are some wise words :) Really ? Uuh I don't think I'm that talented but It would be great to share my works with a professional writer like you . But I mostly write on paper so I have to rewrite it on my pc . BTW what do you usually write ?

A professional is the same as an amateur except that we are paid, and know people in the industry. I write short stories mostly due to my contract with the publisher, but i am working on a novel. I write dark romance, and horror, typically, although not what inset out to write, that's certainly where i ended up. Additionally, never settling for your current talent is the only path to greatness. The smartest person to ever live, never claimed to be as such. And if yiu want pointers or advice please feel free to let me know, im always happy to help!

I see , that's really cool ! Horror is definitely one of my favourite genres to read . In Horror visuals and music are usually needed to give you the chills and keep you engaged in the story ..So I think that being able to make others feel such emotions through words only is pretty impressive ^^ Also , the short statements you said are truly inspiring . Definitely, any time! Im a huge believer in atmosphere and symbolism in writing, which is ,in my opinion, essential to the genre. However, i dont put much stock into setting up events in some contexts as that isn't very realistic or practical. After all, on order to illicit emotion or effectively write a story, you need to make it accessible and relatable to your audience.

Oh I think I understand what you mean . Also , too much description isn't really for short stories and it may put off readers after all ..
