what is an anime you like but nobody knows about?

I feel like Sakura Taisen is up there it hasn’t spread so much to the west and thankfully I’ve learned enough Japanese to play the games I was able to fully enjoy it all

Depends on how you define well known. Is it as well known as Bleach? No. Is it as well known as DBZ? No. Is it as well known as Pokemon? No. People usually, but not always start with a few surface level anime like Naruto or Bleach before they get into more difficult stories that take time to digest. Difficult stories to digest such as Shinsekai Yori or even worse to digest Serial Experiments Lain. I define well known as the anime that pops peoples cherry. That's is to say, the anime that most people first watch. Well known anime such as DBZ, Naruto, Pokemon, hell even Sailor Moon. Well known for me are the anime that normies watch. The ones that almost weaboo has watched. The people that have seen Shinsekai Yori does not compare to shows that are truly watched by almost every weeb. For that very reason I say that Shinsekai yori isn't as well known.
