Politics Vent Thread

Vent political opinions. Be it regarding your country's situation, political systems, macroeconomics and such. Of course, debate is much appreciated, but don't be dicks to others. Bah, I am not your parent to say whatever you should do or not. It might look redundant, due to the existence of the "debate" thread, but this is specifical to politics (Captain Obvious attacks!) But yeah. That's about it.

Well, I don't really know where to begin with the political aspect of my own country. Feels weird honestly, since I'm not exactly enraged by the current leaders (maybe just annoyed) albeit I find how they speak on live television quite irritating; sometimes even infuriating to some point. Some speeches are so terribly executed it's almost pitiful, but laughable.

It is unfortunate that Classical Liberalism/Neoliberalism has taken a turn to Libertarianism in the Public Opinion. What was once "reduce the State's obligation for the sake of individual liberties" has become "abolish the State".

I'm pissed. The opposition has been the driving force behind every successful Coronavirus precaution and the government is just using the whole situation to create tax breaks and give subsidies to their lobbyists. But public opinion of Scott Morrison (the optimimum of incompetence) is it an all time high because he looks tired. No joke that is the actual reason his polls are never better. Australians are dumb as bricks when it comes to politics.

This thread right here is going to be kerosine to this site. There's been these types of threads before in the past. Some people have been suspended. Should be entertaining. LOL
