Oh Europeans. Those scenes would have made sense to include in the DVD but it seems like it was too much for the US.

I read the books years ago, and it was pretty graphic stuff...not sure how well it would translate in it's purest form into a screenplay, much less a mini-series...nonetheless I suppose I will have to watch it now

Shogun was amazing. I still ownbit on vhs rofl. Have yet to find dvd yet.
