Thankfully he is behind bars. What this testimony was about today was the apparent cover-up facilitated by the FBI and the American Olympic Committee. They didn't want any sort of bad press to cause them to not win the American bid for the 2028 Olympics. There's been no accountability on the FBI's part. From the point Maroney reported Nassar, 17 months passed and he abused 70 more children within that timespan. They are calling for the FBI agents that were involved to be prosecuted.

I think the FBI reslly needs to be looked into, and my FBI agent probably ordering the hit on me as we speak but fuck it. I dont think they have been operating well lately. Since the days of trump we all saw how they move.

That ultimatum by the Hudson, OH mayor seems odd. If it really qualified as such I would think you would charge them anyways. The FBI is kind of a joke. They kind of do their job, but they rely on a lot of other organizations for their operations. Much of their technical or high-skill work is performed by government contracted companies. I'm doubtful of the cover-up accusation. You really need to read into the story to understand how and why this went on for so long as uncomfortable as that may be.

Cover up or not there's no excusing failure to action which resulted in 70 more kids being molested by a preditor. That panel should be asking for all those agents' resignations. I'll add if the agents disagree that they shouldn't resign or be discharged, I would love to hear why and who the responsible parties are that caused such a delay in Nassar being charged and taken in to custody.
