@filipakatsuki Dude, I don't know. I don't plan on dating a minor let alone sleep with one, so I never took the time to look it up. I do however have a cousin who was 25 when he had a relationship with a 17 year old girl. His father is a lawyer and looked everything up. That's all I know about it. It has to do with the same law as the one that states that psychologists have to inform parents of children under 18 of the developments in therapy. But once more, I have no practicle use for this knowledge, so I never bothered to actually look into it

@miarin I agree. In my opinion people under 18 should not have adult relationships with people older. A 15 yo having sex with a 16 yo kind of makes sense in the way that there isn't a massive unbalance in power. This is however the case in a relationship between in minor and an adult. No amount of parental supervision could make that right. If you ask me, this is actually even more damaging and would entail an unhealthy relationship with the parents. Remember, children, I didn't come up with this shit

@filipakatsuki Now that I think about it a bit more, there's a good chance there's no such agreement in the law. It's just like the smoking of weed being tolerated in public areas until you actually do something wrong. You know what our country is like when it comes to tolerance. They probably don't care to file a report whenever a 16 year old girl is in a relationship with an adult, especially considering both the child and the parents are consenting. Doesn't make it right, though

@sparkis I honestly don't care about the age gap. It's more about positions of power. If a 17 year old mature woman who works at a mental institution with and sleeps with a patient who has a mental age of 12 while actually being 40, I'd say the 17 year old is abusing the 40 year old. Rape and abuse are about power and consent, not about age. Also, talking about acceptable is kind of strange in this context. Something is either against the law or it isn't. Acceptability is kind of subjective. You will accept things that I might merely tolerate or might actually even judge completely, whereas that also works the other way around
