Depends on the series. I watch a good portion of my anime on Toonami so that's dub by default. Although there are plenty of shows that I can't stand dubbed. (HOTD and NGE come to mind)

As I said in a similar thread in the anime forum, dubs are fine as long as they are not forced memes or just unneeded political jokes. FUNimation and 4Kids are guilty of either one.

@MugiwaraMaster FUNimation is more of a modern issue. Back when they did Yu Yu Hakusho and the like, they were great. Their dub of Dragon Maid does little more than make me go do something else.

Bingo. Not to say some anime are not political, but Prison School and Dragon Maid never had any political themes whatsoever. Why force it in the dub? As for 4KIds, they were full of bad jokes and puns. "Is this man made of steroids?" A real line from the 4KIds dub of One Piece. And the ever famous "You are being flushed, like a big pile of doodoo." ruining the impact of Crocodile's sand pit scene.
