Coronavirus. Your thoughts? [Serious and Non-Serious]

Yeah. We live in the same state and it's an unsafe mess. I would say 70% go maskless. My family legit says masks are for slaves.

Ya, a good portion of the US is convinced the entire planet got together with Democrats and made up this virus, shut down their countries, and sacrificed trillions of dollars, all just to make Trump look bad and try and cost him the election. They are convinced the recommendation to wear masks is some form of attempted government control of the population.

Dummies wanna get sick, let 'em. Thing is, dummies get other people sick, too. BuT mAh FreEdOmS!!! Get sick on your own, by yourself, secluded time. Wanna cry because Walmart won't let ya in? Well, order your shit online, ya dummy.

Truth time, I am one of those spooky scary Trump supporters to a degree. I am still convinced that the masks are only prolonging the total infection of the population. Whether symptomatic or not, chances are you are going to get the virus. Hell, I already got it and thanks to vitamins, blood type-O, fit body and use of cigarettes I was unaffected. However the military had this notion from the start. There is no way to eradicate this virus, so it has to be slowed to not overload the hospitals. This way people who are going to get hit bad with the virus have a fighting chance with more focused medical care. I am not under the delusion that masks will save us. I am not holding out for some sort of vaccine to come out since research is progressing very slowly and it is spreading far too quickly for a vaccine to be made before total infection. Long story short is that in the end, you are going to come in contact with the virus and no amount of masks, sanitizer or precautions is going to stop that. So I say wear masks if you feel like it, but know that it is only delaying the inevitable.
