How Many Friends Do You Have?

In the eyes of some people, I have countless friends online and offline. I myself think I have a couple of friends. It takes time to build and maintain a friendship, what I lack is time, so I am quite hesitant to make new friends.

I have a mental tier system with friends. Best friends, hangout friends, and acquaintances. There is one for in person and online friends. When I was younger I made a lot of effort to make friends both in person and online. Now I try to keep away and let people come to me. I maintain quite a few hangout friends. People I see semi regularly and hang out with. I have always had few best friends. Unfortunately best friends have declined over the years. Acquaintances are just people I come across in certain circles. Try guessing where you fall under... |ω・）

Everyone that drinks together with me, I tell them my darkest secrets and shit and they still like me I consider true friends. It is so good to have those people even if I don't have a lot of them. Under 10 irl and under 20 online

Like... on here? Or IRL? I have more irl friends than I have on here, but give me time. I'm a friend whore and will end up adding everyone eventually, usually in trade for pictures of cats.

I have friends on the surface. Two pretty good friends irl, and a few online friends I've kept in touch with occasionally somewhere else. I used to have more friends in the past but I lost contact with them due to different lives/interests. As for this site, 97% of friends I haven't talked to really, or some that I have managed to connect with have vanished... In general, I just have difficulty initiating conversations and am very perceptive of who I chose to want to befriend or not befriend.
