How can I get better at this I'm like past that age where you acquire knowledge on a very fast level so I'm asking how can I get better at drawing anatomy? What worked for you? I really want to get better at it, I know it is like the one thing really keeping me from reaching a better potentional but I don't know what to do or where to start.. Any advice you guys have ?

Anatomy is very difficult to master even I'm not that great at it myself. However here's some tricks that can help that I've learned from my drawing teacher and it's what I go by:
-Study Skeletons, you really gotta know the body inside out.
-Look at your own hands and draw them in every different position possible.
-Study other artists work. This what I do and it really helps. Like if you have time to go to a museum you should definitely go look at artists from history.
-Draw from life. Going out and observing the world around you really helps a lot. You can even study animals like at the Zoo

Wouldn't it also depend on your style as well? How much detail you add to it too?

Yeah what Charles said, everyone's style is different. Not everyone will grow at the same rate. Some have a photographic memory while others don't. But if you keep drawing you'll continue to improve progressively.

Though I feel knowing basic anatomy does go a long way

My style is anime so, I do like detail but I have to learn proper anatomy my friend says. She says my art is okay but if I learned proper anatomy and mastered that and came back to anime I'd be so much better. It is true I spent too much time drawing chibis and still poses like standing arms to the side or arms behind.

Ahh. I borrow inspiration from anime as well for my style.
Ohh, another thing you can do is study manga too. There's loads of mangaka with insanely good anatomy.
And indeed Charles. Anatomy is just really difficult. I'm still learning myself. xD

My inspiration comes from a blend of both American Comics and Anime/Manga. I try to consume as much material as I can and follow different artists on both sides.

Oh yeah you're right... western comics, superheroes and stuff, You should really look at all artists as a general rule of thumb
