@lamby it could be that the zombies roaming around with no will..the only thing that's left is their regrets back from their life so they walk towards to fulfill their regrets (most of the cases back to their loved ones) so along the road whenever they see a human their current instincts from being a zombie will take hold their mind and this same thing will occur at the end of the road even when they see their loved ones... it could not actually be that the zombies search to eat up their loved ones...it just might be they just couldn't fight back their instincts after sensing a human...
