I'm fresh to this site and probably wouldn't consider myself that much of an otaku compared to others, but people seem cool. Idk if I'd ever meet anyone off this app. Seems like it would be difficult to find someone close by. And I'm not one for long distance.

Personally for me it worked. Found my boyfriend I am together with for 2 1/2 years now on this site. We even moved together by now (at first it was LDR). But ever since I just check in from time to time and we‘re not really active anymore. c:

It has worked in the past several times yes, but nowadays not so much. Unless I end up with someone amazing - I'm happy to just chat and meet new people who I can relate and click with.
