what a low IQ take Not all anime are aimed at adults, there are plenty of anime for children and even in Japan people who watch anime are looked down upon and are seen as childish. Is MLP a show aimed at children? In the beginning. The fact of the matter is that as the fanbase grossed a more diverse group of people it added little easter eggs specifically for that group of people, not for the children watching. This 'weird gross old men liking little ponys ew' take is such a smooth brain view. You don't see the MLP fanbase moving onto a different technicolored kids show. MLP was special. MLP gave us nostalgia to the shows we watched as children, along with having great animation and writing (for the most part). If you want to shit on MLP than I hope your ready to shit on Adventure Time, Regular Show, Star Vs, Steven Universe, Craig of the Creek, Wander over Yonder, Courage the Cowardly Dog, and Fosters home for Imaginary Friends, along with every other cartoon thats aimed forwards children. (I also hope you don't enjoy video games like Minecraft) Get absolutely bodied out of here with your smooth brain point of view on children's cartoons. Don't even get me started on leaving a legitimately good piece of entertainment because the fanbase is cancer. What a sheople move.
