"I'm ugly"

"why we cant have nice things" because of the ugliness (in our hearts~) lul No, but I did use to think I am ugly. I hated myself. I thought that was what I was supposed to do. Some people I looked up to told me I will never be loved because I am not feminine, because of my weight, that men will be disgusted to be seen with me on the streets. As a kid battling depression and panic/anxiety attacks, it stuck with me. I self harmed. I was bullied. I was suicidal. But I wanted to love myself. I wanted to trust people and accept their compliments and take care of myself. I started accepting my own person, was proud of all my accomplishments and tried to learn how to love my own appearance. I can say now that I am happy with myself and comfortable with the world around me to some extent. I am average and that is okay. I do think I have a pleasant appearance. And I always strive to be better for myself.

Everyone should think that they're handsome/gorgeous. Those positive thoughts help a lot. It radiates self confidence, happiness and optimism. Something that people are subconsciously drawn towards

Frankie is right. I feel like the inside can really make a person sparkle from inside-out. You can be a very beautiful person, but if your insides are rotten, then good luck, since beauty fades, but personality and deeds stick.

We are only "ugly" to those who failed to understand us and gave up resulting in avoiding or even attempting to take advantage of you. They can even misunderstand you. Fooling you. Those who understand you have much larger hearts and care as well as having similar interests or are wanting to join in as newcomers to your interests. One of my uncles told me, "Ugly is a very strong word. Perhaps to anyone who is prejudice everyone ELSE IS ODD. HOWEVER we know 'God makes everyone different!' Now comes the question: who is beautiful? Who is ugly? We must look in Gods holy word---- God makes ALL THINGS BEAUTIFUL!!! And then Mom's favorite verse, 'He make no mistakes.'" Tape Face said we should stay weird. And one guy was told by a bully he's stupid and had suicidal thoughts, but took advantage of preventing them by believing it's okay to be "stupid".

My daughter did a live model drawing class last term and she found that the subjects that were most rewarding to sketch were the ones whose visages told a story. Barbie's aren't nearly as interesting to draw.
