I would get real slim and even go underweight to cosplay men. I tried my best to not have thighs and it felt better to bind at a low weight. The past 2 years tho I put on weight and just chose to cosplay women with larger chests and flattering outfits that suit my body. Wayyy more comfortable and I’m not starving myself before cons. I passed out before at a con for refusing to eat. I doubt I’ll ever get that mentality again cuz cosplay isn’t worth it.

I feel like I HAVE to look a certain way to cosplay. Like, all these male cosplayers have such defined jaws and sharp chins. And their skin is so fair!
