Going Out To Eat

This may sound wierd to talk about but I was wondering if anyone has advice. For my lunch break at work I love going and hanging out and going out to eat with the guys at work. At the same time I am really trying to save money and I literally have a 5 minute walk home from work. So I can go home everyday for lunch. How do you motivate yourself to no going out to eat and staying home to save money?

I wouldn't recommend it, but back when I had somewhat of a drinking problem I would go home and have a glass of whiskey on my lunch break. So the habit kept me from going out to eat
