There are some great older pen and paper superhero rpgs out there that have all sorts of weird powers and abilities. You might be able to find them somewhere for some inspiration if you do want something really out there. Particularly Heroes Unlimited and the three tie in Powers Unlimited books, and Hero System. Some of the examples of some of the characters my group came up with back in those days. *A character that had a psychic attack that forced others to live through the flashback he was describing. *A character that was a murder of crows crammed into a humanoid shape, and stuffed into a suit of armor. Had druidic powers and mostly summoned other such gestalt creatures, usually made of rodents or insects. (this character was absolutely horrifying btw).

adding onto onis post in code geass with the geass the more he uses his power the less he has control over it
