can you talk about feminism?

Legit feminism? I'm all for it, more power to'em. Women should have equal opportunities, rights, pay, etc. And men should help around the house, raising their kids, etc However, there are inherent differences between men and women (ignoring all the in-betweens since this is just about feminism) that make certain jobs safer or more appealing to one or the other, say construction work or being an uber driver for example. I think there are certain differences between the sexes hat should be celebrated And what I flat out reject, is fake or mistaken feminism; where its just not about equality anymore. There's "feminists" that can easily identify certain benefits, such as better job opportunities and equal wages, who would then baulk at the idea of having to maintain a stay-at-home dad

A lot of people are against straw feminism, which I have yet to see anyone really believe (aside from maybe citing misleading statistics) : 3 I use to be less feminist but then I randomly went on tangent where I wanted to find visual novels anime with fem protags in the genres that appealed to me; and oh boy that was a generally terrible experience. Kickass high school girl detective? Turned out to be the construction of another dude character. Oh hey, look, another badass fem protag...who straight up dies and is replaced by a diff char after the first chapter. Wow, there's a cute girl in a steampunk visual novel setting... except the supporting characters suffer random rape scenes. Great. There's definitely a gender representation problem in anime/visual novels and once I noticed that it kind of opened my eyes to how a lot of USA media is messed up in terms of gender rep too.

honestly most of these posts are about people own strawman feminists either you support women having equal rights or you dont its that simple
