How much have you spent on dating apps or sites?

I've used some dating apps, never paid for them cause usually that's crap. So long as people can message for free, I don't see a need. I'm one of those people who absolutely hate it when someone just say hey ^^; Ask me something, there's like a whole bio! When I message someone it's usually cause I'm responding to something they put on their bios. Like ask a question or something that's related to your hobbies or whatever that people can respond to, "I'll buy you coffee if you can guess where my cosplay come from" or "trying to get over the Got blues, any suggestions?" That way it's an ice breaker and you both know you have something in common. That's my advise at any rate lol

Does it count if I paid by vowing my life to another? Not the initial stipulation, but it's the final outcome. I used POF and OkCupid. I got lucky with OkCupid, found who'd eventually become my wife and the mother of my son. And it's not like I dated or even met up with many from either. I met with all of two women counting who'd eventually become my wife. Getting numbers or having conversations was always the easy part. Meeting up? Eh... Not so much.XD

I joined this site in hopes of finding someone. But seems that I'm the only active member over here from my country. But I made some really good friends over here tho

i tried out meetme and a couple of other free ones. the other ones sucked but i gave meetme a chance. eventually the site became filled with bots. there were real people too, but i kept getting friend requests from bots most the time. i met one girl on there who is my best friend and lives in the town a couple of miles away from me. best part about her is, she's an otaku as well! we did date recently and it ended a few weeks later cause of, well, reasons. but we are close friends and share tons in common lol. but i came to MO to hopefully find a significant other, but i honestly enjoy meeting, talking to, and making friends with all you freaking amazing people i've met since i started in mid-July! if i so happen to be adored by someone here, ill try not to screw it up! everyone i've met on here has treated me with nothing but love and respect, and im glad i came here! i have about quadruple, maybe more, the amount of friends on here than i did on meetme! meetme can go to hell for all i care, i think it's about there now anyway since the bots found their way in. i hope to meet more of you as my journey progresses on here! :3

Spent nada, but I did try quite a few dating apps, ah those dark ol' days -- It wasn't Tinder though, it was some popularized asian dating app that I joined for no reason at all, I was quite popular with European matches, the Korean dudes were very hard to please xd
