what do you value most in a friendship?

I know a lot of people, but only few of them are considered by me as "friend" and 1 of them as "true friend". A true friend is someone who has your back when things are going very wrong in your life. A true friend is someone who keeps their promises, and makes you want to keep yours, too. A true friend is someone who neither leads nor follows, but walks with you. You'll know when you find them.

Personally, it always takes me aback when people call me a 'true friend' for just being a decent human when someone at rock bottom asks for help that I'm equipped to provide. It's even more appalling to know that others watched a man fall in there in the first place. Though I guess I can see why empathy and honor would be highly valued in today's social climate.

What I value the most in friendship is the communication, and mutual understandings. To be honest that is how me and my friends become friends! Because we, three, have almost the exact same taste, ideas, thoughts, dreams, hobbies, likes, and dislikes. We're always on the terrace of one's house, talking about some creepy stuffs, turning to world's history, to space, to ocean, and to nature. Oh how much we love talking about things like that at night. When we do have an overnight at one's house, we didn't sleep, we just keep on talking until the morning comes, talking about life problems, or watch creepy shits, jamming to music and more. And that's what I valued the most in our friendship. I look up to the both of them and adore them. I would always call to someone somewhere out there to not let this friendship end. ^~^
