Then they are like yeah but we torture animals before we kill them, when animals literally grab hold of an animal and shake it to death or eat it while its alive

Real vegans wouldn't use cars or use anything operated or made with the use of gasoline or oil. If you're against anything related to dead animals for real you'd be surprised how little you can actually do in life.
