If you feel scared at all, just become the thing to be scared of. For example, scared of walking through the woods? Hide behind trees or in bushes and lie in wait for things before moving on. This way you'll be more wary of things that could be following you and if need be, you can jump out and scare the things that scare you! Scary people in the house? Just rip off your clothes, cover yourself in pigs blood, wear a creepy mask, and jump out at them while wielding two meat cleavers. They'll be so freaked out they won't come back!
