Drink in public? Like on the train or places like that? @acacia Why the Scottish and not the Irish? o: I know that British people really love to joke about how the Irish practically live in pubs.

I meet a lot of tourists at the tavern down the road on their way to Kakadu. Just personal experience that scottish seem to drink just as much as the locals. I haven't actually seen an irish in a while.

i was in ireland last september on a class trip. in dublin we went to thiss pub and got batshit drunk. guiness is allright but it just isnt german beer.
