Yeah school is mostly a part in your life you want to end very soon.
But the good thing is it's only gonna be better later on.
The dumb things people cared about, like clothing and popularity
loses it's 'importance' later on.

All school is conformist indoctrination. Better to be an autodidact without institutions.

I wanted to write more than just being bullied for playing Pokémon but I didn't have time before. What is easily noticed is how so many people describe highschool as one of the worst period of their lives, does that tell you anything? Highschool happens at the same time as puberty and there's this problem because every adults suddenly stop holding your hand and expect you to grow up and mature and know what to do by yourself. You're like 14 and they tell you about responsibilities and taking the good habits and a mistake could ruin your life. I learned how to read when I was 4 and I was a prized kid and everybody was impressed. Elementary school is extraordinarily easy. They're literally teaching the same thing for 6 years straight. Biggest math problem at 1st grade is 12x12, biggest math problem in 6th grade is 12x12. Then pubert start, highschool start, suddenly nobody cares about me anymore. That creates self-esteem issues. Am I not good anymore? Why are they ignoring me? To each their own but I'm sure other people have had their story. You can't get higher, only get lower and lower and you have to survive.
At puberty you start being independent and want privacy and not just for fapping. There's part of you that actually want to be taken seriously, you're not a little kid anymore, but the complete lack of guidance is disorienting. You're blamed for not doing what you don't understand. There was this thing called "learning how to learn" that honestly doesn't make any sense.
Not going to generalize and trash everyone but other teens are dorks and bullies. No one keeps them in check because adults leave teens to their things. Schools say they take bullying seriously. Plot twist: they don't. It's like after 12, you can babysit yourself and they don't care anymore. If you need help, you're a problem. Teachers are trash too. I have met great teachers, superb people that truly loved their job and their life and wanted you to learn. I can't thank them enough. Most teachers were unhappy as a whole and took it out on students. They wanted a big career and they failed so they're stuck with highschool duty. Psychiatrists get to treat angsty kids, probably wasn't their plan. PE teacher basically blow in a whistle and look at people playing sports.
I've known principals in elementary school that liked showing off but weren't good principals, one of them gave me detention for humming in the locker room, I was 7. In highschool, the principal was a pedophile, the vice-principal too and the other vice-principal openly bullied and yelled at kids they were going to fail if they didn't stop acting like retards. Some of their favorite victims were autistic too. You can't wear a hat inside, you gotta get used to the adult world right now young boy. You have to address adults as "vous" and respect them, even if they don't respect you. They're literally playing the big brother that says "my turn on the xbox now" and they can because you have no rights here. The reality? Nobody cares if you wear a hat and they don't care if you call them by their first name. I actually get praised when I'm assertive. Highschool tells you to be obedient.
There is insane pressure on learning things you'll never actually need, no one to help you fight the stress, you are expected to be mature and independent after all. You're told that failing ruin your life. Gotta learn dates by heart. Formulas, perfect grammar and orthography, and that doesn't really help you at all. I know 50-60 y/o adults that say pythagora whatever his name was such a load of bull and it never helped. Why are they still teaching it? Teach me how to do my taxes instead I dunno?? Teach kids respect and open-mindedness, self-acceptance??
Talking about highschool make me sound super edgy and negative but it's sadly what I remember the most. Yes it's had great things but those were the exceptions. Things that sort of make it worth it but not really? You get your diploma and you're not smarter or better, your diploma is basically useless.

The biggest thing anyone currently in high school and is suffering a lot of bullshit be it either classes, bullying, etc is that it's only a very temporary part of your life. Especially if you're still very early on as a freshmen/sophmore, it can seem like a never ending slog you have to put up with every day.
I got picked on a decent amount, and it helped a bit when I got into my junior and senior years and a lot of the upper classmen who caused me problems back then graduated and moved on.
The biggest thing you'll need to take from it right now is that all the people around you, probably 95-98% of them you'll never see again in five years once you graduated and move onto college. They'll be a distant memory of a time in your life you won't have to deal with any longer. Going to college was like a breath of fresh air for me because it was a clean slate to an extent and I got a chance to start over. People were a lot more accepting and I found an anime club (thankfully) that had a lot of people I could click with at the time.
