There are pretty fair arguments against it tbh and while i dont disagree with what you say. There litwrally are no reasons behind why it is essential besides the fact that its taboo and often things people arent allowed to do. The animal aspect its a coin toss between sick people and people who are lonely *cough* dog and peanut butter meme. Pedophilia is more about the physical attraction and i have seen a rise in it alot recently. Now you see all these people getting in trouble from doing indecent acts/things involving children. While normalizing it hasnt been widely accepted it has been growing amongst a niche group of indiviuals. Now i dont believe the LGBT advocates for this and like stated most normal people find it disgusting. The correlation between LGBT and pedophile/beastiality culture is vastly worlds apart. Where people got the notion im connecting the 2 is beyond me. Just as the way LGBT has been growing this community has seen growth

Indeed. That may just be a sociological shift because of how information spreads faster than it ever has. Lots of niche groups saw a rise since the creation of the internet. Look at the rise in white nationalism lately. The more we disassociate ourselves from the world around us, the less of a defense we have when we encounter an unpopular ideology. We may find "Hey, I kinda believe what these people are saying, and they make me feel like I belong to something." Without having the context of knowing and talking to a large amount of normal people, you may not realize why a certain ideology is fringe to begin with, because you aren't talking to he people who's lives have been impacted negatively from it.

Panda, Basically, you're saying if we normalize one thing that was considered a taboo, it won't be long for others to follow suit(Correct me if I'm wrong.). I wonder what people just fifty years ago would've thought about the normalization of interracial marriages/relationships or *gasp* a black president? Many assumed it'd lead to social decent. Has it? Point being, there's absolutely no correlation. Honestly, we see more of what was once only in the shadows BECAUSE of social media/internet and assume things must be getting worse when all it is, is a case of things that have been around for a looooong time coming to light. Like the Catholic Church, for instance (Decades and decades of cover-up.). A bit of an aside. One thing I have a problem with in THIS community is with people who think lolicon/shotta/depictions of rape/furry sex crap(just hate that one, legalities or not. ;p)...etc is fine. People who say "BuT ItS JuSt A cArtOoN!" and discount how even so it's what's called a catalyst and shows the depravity of your inner heart. But, I suppose that's another topic for another time... These communities tend to attract A Lot more weird people than others. Or at least make them think "It's ok, at least I'm not a normie.".

Yes i am a well aware that these things have been around for decades. We only see them more prevalent now because social media has become a platform to show case even the most deepest of things going on behind the scenes. My thing is with more exposure comes less of a shock factor. You hear about an important head figure commiting some foul act toward a minor its less of a "WOW" and more of an "ok, what else is new". things such as loli, furry, etc. Are also growing due to said exposure. people get curious and venture out to see what the big whoop is about. This helps grow a community. Just like anime it used to be hard to find anyone who watches it, nowadays even Netflix has anime. My argument was never to pinpoint blame but more of to say that the same way LGBT has grown exponentially and gained the traction needed to get things done. Same can be said about more morbid ideals. Now our generation are against these ideas due to things such as "consent" but newer generations grow up not knowing better. Culture changes, times change, likes change as well. Why do you think many kids are sexualized on television, or more gruesome topics such as rape has been popping up frequently. It feels like in almost every action show rape is hinted at. Newer generations are exposed to such things. It then becomes normal, polyamorous relationships havent went away. There are still guys out here with several women at once. It just has been cut back on and hidden. Peopleeven use it as bragging rights. Now while i dont believe pedophilia as it stands now will become prevalent it could be warped in a way it would be acceptable given enough people back it. Same for beastiality, same for snuff and other stuff.

Honestly, what would be considered acceptable in the future isn't for us to decide so why even get mad about what people who don't exist yet might do?

Honestly, everyone seems to be fighting for some kind of ideal. To say that which of those ideals is worth more than others is completely subjective and can never be truely agreed upon.

Well, anything can happen if given enough time. At the end of the day, all you have true control over is you. Live your life how you see it can best be done and you will be fine.
