the only problem with remaking both Genealogy and Thracia (Mostly Thracia) is what becomes canon, mostly with the Children and some Story beats. Keep the main story intact while adding a little here and there for more character development. Gameplay is where the remake would take a hit i.e Skills, Stamina, and small quality of life changes to either streamline it (dunno if that'd be good or bad, imo somewhere in between), also adding a OG Mode where you can play the game in it's original state. Could be done on Switch

Indeed, later games introduce time travel and deeprealms to get around having to make a whole set of characters if the required supports aren't made. of course later games have bigger rosters as well so it's possible they make all the characters cannon with new paralogues to recruit the extras.

To be honest I loathe the deeprealms and other things in Fates. Time travel in Awakening made sense while the latter didn't, most likely to accommodate the children and waifu simulator in that game, then again it's a part of what made Awakening so popular, so why fix what wasn't broken[?]

the other problem is it might turn into fates .. now if they have to make cannon characters and all i dont mind as long as it stays faithful to the games and timeline. Now if they are to go full fudged time line and waifu/husbando simulator id be bothered. the other issue is basically how would they compress two entire games into one single game while including the most important events like .. (no spoiler) incesttyy stuff and toasty bois.

I hope to God almighty that it would never turn into Fates. The only thing I can imagine happening in that scenario is that you get part 1 as it is, then branch off the other parts, pick one path as Seliph or the other as Lief
