Indie Games Apprection!

Risk of Rain 2! The first one was 2D but now they've brought it into a 3D space. it's a game where you collect abilities through out levels to grow stronger, but the more time spent in game the harder the enemies become. it starts off at easy and makes it's way to hard, very hard, nightmare, HAHAHA, and my favorite, I'M COMING FOR YOU. The goal is to make it to the last level in time to beat the boss. it has several fun characters to choose from with different play styles all affected by the abilities you choose to stack. max players is 4, it's a ton of fun with a group of friends. He is just such a lovable eccentric character. His unique attitude towards "humans" is straight up funny, which also fits perfectly for a good judgy sleuth-hound! I frigging enjoyed every conversation, with every NPC! They're excellent characters as well, so you won't solely be rooting for the handsome Detective Goatman. You'll have a difficult time pointing fingers on such fun, lovable characters. I also got to give props to the in game music. It is so hard to keep my body from dancing, while I was listening to those sweet jams. This developer to be honest, can make a worth successor to Sherlock Homes. Perhaps even better. Why, you may ask? The mystery part was quite expansive, but yet also easy to follow. Mixing the two is no easy feat. You also solve things at the same pace as Detective Goatman. Which most mysteries forget to do, for the sake of a bigger plot twist (which would make the experience lame). Hey, if your reading this and feel the same way. Encourage the developer to make "Detective Goatman" a full fledge series, by leaving a motivating response in the comment section! Well wonder no more, "Idle Invaders" got you. I never played something so mechanically different in my whole entire life. Its so weird to explain, but here I go. There is something about it, how I'm mostly trying to plan on how I am going to shoot a invader down. Should I focus on defense to live longer? Kill the enemy right away, perhaps. It mostly felt like a chess game with strategic placements at best. Its truly fun and endearing to me. You can enjoy plenty of good hours improving on your strategic craft with this supposedly short game. If you need a game that gets you thinking try "Idle Invaders" you will not be disappointed. I have not seen satire at this capacity in a game for such a long time, so much lovely effort. In whole honesty I love some good satire. I can't sadly talk about it too much, because well its whole existence is one huge punchline. The developer of "Make Sure it's Closed" definitely delivered, and gained all my heartwarming respects. I frigging love this guy, he is one smart witty dude. I know sadly it isn't "Baba Is You", but the jam build. I just don't got the money to buy it at the moment, okay? This game was super fun though! I got to admit this is a really good puzzle game at it's core, the mechanics made me love coding again. It was also ridiculously challenging, most of the time I had to get incredibly creative. There is a lot of experimentation, and a simple obstacle can have multiple solutions. Its a very dark, "woke" telling of this poor innocent girl. I can't spoil much, but you will be heart broken every time you fail. It's mechanics by the way, can be surprisingly difficult. It gets incredibly tough to multitask all the things you must do to succeed. There is one issue though, the text is incredibly hard to read. So I had to zoom out on the web browser, to fix the text bubbles. 9/10 I truly love it, but it's slightly buggy on the text. Especially since this game is heavily focused on those texts. if fixed 10/10. ---Q & A--- Q: I keep failing, should I just give up? A: Keep pushing yourself, until the very end! Q: Is there a end? I love how threatening the enemies look, perhaps it was perfectly designed to depict the heroes to look like bad guys? Talking about it's own aesthetic, I really love the minimal 8-bit black and white contrast to the game. So give it a try, and see how far you'll go as the monster! 10/10 Not playing this, will be a "Grave" mistake! ---Q & A--- Q: Help I don't know how to move or attack! Anything can trigger my dog to go on a psychotic rampage, especially at 3 am. Adorable little dog, who can easily transform into a public menace in a snap of a finger. This game kind of perfectly simulates this, with a classic retro 8 bit style! Why wouldn't you wanna torture people as one of your pets? 10/10 Will wake up at 3am, just to play this game! ---Q & A--- Q: How long is it? A: About 5 minutes or so.
