DEATH NOTE!

Death note is a really good anime, definitely goes on the list of animes that I really enjoyed watching. Pretty intense, but I suppose many people share my opinion on it, as it's so mainstream. It was cool, and the mind games they all played with eachother in the show made me respect the writer. Truly had me on edge the whole time. I suppose if I watched it again, it would lose intensity. But it's that first intense watching that got me into it! Overall, it was great. Not the best anime ever by far, but well enough to go on the "better then generic" list.

<Center><Font color="purple">I really didn't want to watch it at first. By the time I hard about Death Note it was EVERYWHERE!!<BR> I'm not too fond of anime that have a cult following already. With the dubs and the n00bs and the blah! It annoys me... I had to watch it, though, as I convinced a friend of mine to read the manga and I didn't want him to not be able to talk to me about it. It actually turned out quite nicely.<BR> D.Gray-Man anime is amazing...I just hate the ending... And now I need to find something similar to Death Note to get my friend to read<BR> I'm trying to convert him, hehehe </center></font>

OK, first off- Death Note was a really "smart" anime, and it delivered in suspense and mystery, but I felt like it was lacking in character development. A lot of chars in the second half seemed like they were introduced just to die, and you never really learned anything about them (i.e. Mello), while the rest of the characters didn't seem to have any genuine feelings... not even Misa. The only characters that I left the show really liking were L and Remu.<P> On another note- SOUL EATER. I LOVED this anime (except for the last few episodes- how disappointing!). My favorite thing about it was Chrona though; she was what really got me into the show. She's just so cute... (and don't ruin my fun by insisting she's a dude; I will simply cover my ears and sing until you go away).

Death Note is a very good anime, the strategy that Light and L used was priceless, but for the rest of the anime, in the battle between M and N with Light had a lack of spark in the initiative of working their way to Light, the naive and prideful way that they used L work was just to easy for them at the end, of course with the exception of M accident.

i love deathnote that is within my top three favorite anime and manga list that was the best thought out show ever made. and has anyone seen the alternate endings?

the manga is soo much better than the anime

death note was a good anime but i didn't like the second season very much. The way how it ended i think it should have ended much more better
