Lamby, please read my posts. I mentioned before some people have been noted to have problems with vegan diets. Some countries don't have enough vegetation to support a vegan lifestyle like Mongolia. Also, please stop imposing things on me. I am not crying when I eat a steak. I would rather we live in a world where nothing's life was taken (including plants) but we don't live in that world. This is going into my spiritual beliefs which I would rather not go into. I am very thankful for my food. I also mentioned there could be better farming practices but not all farm life are tortured. Some are well taken care of. I don't believe veganism would bring better farming practices because the root of bad farming is the same with any company. Profit over virtue. Plenty of plants could be treated better. Also sugar companies have hidden data on sucrose vs fructose studies.
Edit: I'm eating a salad while typing this. The sweet plant flesh.

My point is that people follow trends, veganism has sort of become a trend, something to humble brag about. Without the right intention of the ethics behind veganism it is just a fad and not a movement which it needs to be.

Did you even read what I said? I was saying that this isn't a phenomena exclusive to vegans, it's something you see when it comes to multiple lifestyle choices and belief systems. You have christians who will get on you all day about the 'sins' you commit and how you need to accept jeezus into your life to be saved, etc but will not stand to hear anyone question that belief. Do you find people like that pleasant to be around? I personally wouldn't because they obviously have no respect for people that live differently. Though of course I'm talking about more extreme cases. I wasn't even saying "all vegans do this"
But I was saying that tweet was nothing but inflammatory, just a generalizing "hah checkmate meat eaters!" when honestly a majority of people DO care about climate change, deforestation, and animal cruelty. You can't just gatekeep on people like that and expect people to just be like 'yeah, I'm totally fine with that generalization. I don't REALLY care because I eat meat sometimes"

maybe i missed that comment? i dont remember seeing that
well, as iv said before, indigenous people obviously can't go vegan
but
are you an indigenous person?
or do you shop at a grocery store?
what exactly is your excuse, ghost?
why do you NEED to eat meat?
and what do you know about farms?
even the nicest farm has their animals go to a slaughterhouse
do you want me to link slaughterhouse footage?
plants are not sentient creatures
animals are
dont compare the two, thats a losing argument
how about this crazy idea
eat fruits and vegetables so that no animals have to die?
and i could also have you argue what an "ethical death" even is?
how comfortable does a cow need to be until you can "ethically" kill it?

kaizer if it wasnt pointed at vegans then it doesnt matter
it doesnt pertain to vegans in that cause but to annoying people
its not involved in this argument if its not about veganism
so yeah

And yeah, I wasn't implying all vegans are like that. But you got people on both sides that do nothing but inflammatory shit that kinda pushes the narrative on both sides to "vegans are this", "meat eaters are this". That was my entire point

When the first animal that evolves in such a way that it can speak, verbally. Probably a dog or a pig. Veganism will be taken seriously worldwide.

but
meat eaters support the killing death and torture of animals :s
vegans.....tell meat eaters about it?
its not a 50/50 case here
one is objectively wrong, and this is why veganism is so hard to debate against
