i would go to the side of "the manga tends to be in much more detail, many times animes skip over important details that lead to better character development or justification or lack there of of a situation. anime also tends to be much more censored in both gore and sexual scenes, and these scenes can be crucial to being able to better relate to the mc or villain."
i could also show examples

Also I was making a self deprecating joke about my allergies toward cats. It’s their dander that destroys me

you seemed to have been standing up for the fact that social contracts arent that bad
along with saying nazi germany was not a social contract situation
can you concede it absolutely was an instance of social contract?

Lamby I already know about the manga v anime nuances and yes I do enjoy manga more BUT
Then you got the BUT THE LIGHT NOVEL!
But there is anime that I think could only come to light as an animation and cannot be conveyed by pencil and ink as well as vice versa with manga. It just goes both ways (also who ever is making it and time and money as well as corporate influence)
Then yah got ppl like me who enjoy VNS!? even though I haven’t played many

now
i have little experience in the LN scene but as i enjoy reading more then i enjoy tv, i assumed the LNs would be the best medium
but from what iv seen they are not
iv read some of the tokyo ghoul LN and sure, writing varies, but it was not as deep as the manga
you have to consider what it is to write a book
to write a book is to send the reader into another land and transform them into another person
to read a book is to watch something happen before you, but with words
now, it is much harder to have the words transform a better picture then what the author could have simply drawn himself
there for i am on the side that the LN is second canon to the manga yet still
least in tokyo ghouls state

I said they were bad because it’s at the “cost” of someone else “Liberty” that imposes what ever values and perceptions of how things “should be” to the one who is in power or has gain power becoming an aggressor of others.
Pretty clear that I said they were bad

i didnt ask why they were bad, any rational person would agree they were bad xD

Idk I’m pretty imaginative to the point where it’s vivid so I don’t mind reading books LN or not
But manga feels endless where as anime I like keeping current
Manga I don’t really discuss what I read a lot in comparison to anime. Kinda makes me sad
