@mountain_tiger tbh first off gz for reading all that schlop i wrote, i don't think i could have read all that (specially with my shitty grammar) i never made an assumption with the purpose of weaponizing it, i think you don't really understand how debates are conducted and instead of choosing to take offense, you could have clarified things instead. it is not "my goal" to have victory over others, that is literally the goal of debates. please don't assign your assumptions to me when you freely entered this space and engaged my debate offer. its like going into a sauna and being mad that its hot inside. this was your choice, so don't take it out on me that you werent prepared for what a debate is. if /you/ wanted to simply discuss veganism that is your responsibility to put that out there initially, not assume i can read your mind or know your intent without you expressing it so if you could stop with the 'you just wanna win that ain't what debating is about' thatd be great, thanks. ok so youv established you would eat a dog. can i ask if you would kill the dog for food? given the circumstance that you had plenty of food around you, would you still kill the dog because the meat was tasty? (and dear lord PLEASE DONT SAY 'if i was starving then yes uwu" this is a situation where you have enough food and simply choose to eat dog meat, so please just give me a straight answer and don't jump to the extremes of a circumstance i never created)

Debating with Lamby is equally to talking to a wall, which makes sense cos she's flat. This thread should be renamed to "Lamby's flat chest wall" there's no leeway, no crack to seep in through. Just a hardened, flat, wall. with a whole minefield in front of it too!~ it's a love or hate relationship really. the only way to counter it is being hard... on ur arguments. and to not take anything personally. it's all just theory. also let me answer your dog eating question, so ure not stepping on a mine. so, if you're asking if i would kill a dog for food. the obvious answer is no. do you think people kill a chicken if they wanna eat one? Obviously no right? They'd buy it from a store. So if a Store would sell dog meat, yeah i'd give it a try. would i kill my pet to enjoy some saucy dog steak? hell no.~

@kyros96 damn it, despite my better judgement ill take the bait >w> your lucky i have 0 better things to do so why would you not kill an animal but you would pay for the animal to be killed?

@momoichi I've already discussed that we have different goals. After Flare3 had made the assertion there is a separation between "discussion" and "debate", I have shifted to more appropriately label what I want out of the conversation, you don't seem to get it so I keep having to reiterate it. It is a language error on my behalf and I will accept the blame for it. ○| ̄|_ Lastly, please read my posts, I can tell you don't do that since you keep asking essentially the same type of questions over and over again. I've already told you I don't eat food for enjoyment, I eat whatever I can acquire because it is better than not eating at all. The only time I really refuse food if it makes me vomit, which makes eating it pointless. If there was plenty of food around, I would eat whatever is the easiest to acquire regardless of it being meat, fruit, or vegetable. I have my own preferences and dislikes, but I choose not to be picky if it means having something to eat. Strategically speaking, I would exhaust the fruit and vegetable options first because those would be easier to collect and prepare. If the dog was easier to access than the fruits or vegetables, I would eat him or her first. The exception being if I can utilized the dog for a better purpose. Maybe this is hard to understand for if you have not been through food insecurity, which I cannot fault you for. We both know your goal in this conversation, I don't know why you feel the need to lead me with more questions. Perhaps you want to humiliate me for experiencing hardship? I do not know at this point, I only wish my immaturity did not lead me to continue talking to you. (。•́︿•̀。)

because it's one thing if the animal is being farmed for meat, and it's another when its wild or a pet. for example wolves have their role in nature, killing them for food would lead to extinction which we both agree on, is bad.

@mountain_tiger ok ill stop the debate then. youv done nothing but backtrack, adhom, and intentionally never answer my questions because you know for a fact those answers would conflict with your moral reasonings. i thought i could get a better debate out of you but this is the kind of cowardice I'm unfortunately used to with these kind of debates. cognitive dissidence is a foe i will continue to perish to i suppose. @kyros96 but you just said your fine with eating dog meat, so why cant you kill either a dog or chicken but are willing to pay for them to be killed?
mountain_tiger
@momoichi I answered your question did I not? I answered your other question also and you just ask another question instead. What answer did you want? Did you not read what I posted? If you didn't, then why ask questions if you don't care about the answer? Please explain to me how I didn't answer your question, if I am at fault I will try to provide further clarification. o7

cuz i dont wanna go through the trouble of beheading, gutting and bleeding the animal out? meat has to be prepared. and guts with blood are rather disgusting. in the more poorer countries people would slaughter animals themselves. mainly for Christmas. but even a pig was rather expensive, so there were usually 2 or 3 families saving up together to be able to afford a pig. - to slaughter- to have food over the winter. i have seen these myself as a kid.

@mountain_tiger you are constantly defaming me and adding your own assumptions to me while also crying that I'm making assumptions to you, its mind numbingly annoying. and now I'm a meany because you stepped into a thread for a vegan debate and I'm being cruel to your past? its insanely ridiculous please don't derail this with things that don't pertain to the debate at hand if your fine with killing and eating a dog then would you be fine with killing and eating a human if there were no adverse health effects, that human had no family, and it was perfectly legal with 0 social ramifications @kyros96 why is blood and guts disgusting and the muscle tissue isn't? its all the same
