Like when they're locking up joker how are they supposed to predict 7 evil batmen would be crashing down busting him out oh but guess what joker decided to help out and fight the evil batmen more specifically the man who laughs

please answer the hypothetical, i have shaved it down to be as accurate as possible
and how many times do you rebuild a sandcastle when the waves keep washing it away until you realize that maybe there's something wrong here? its not just joker that escapes arkham asylum, from my (admittedly limited) knowledge they keep all the baddies there (I am going off of what i remember from the various cartoons so my knowledge is a bit sparse)
how many people has arkham asylum even helped??
and why do the henchmen go to hardcore real jail (if they haven't been crippled by batman) while the real murderers get to be rehabilitated? how is that fair????
and what has batman done to fix the socioeconomic issues of gotham and why haven't they worked.
maybe if he spent less time punching the poor and focused on WHY people become villains he would actually help people
but he doesn't
ultimately batman does not help people. no matter how hard he tries, because of his moral grandstanding people lose their lives and lose family members
how many children have been made orphans because batman doesn't want to kill the joker, or any other homicidal villain for that matter?

i go so far as to say batman PROTECTS villains
gotham wants to give these murderers the electric chair, and batman stopped them
and batman stopping them has lead to how many deaths of innocents? to save a handful of murderers?

I did answer the hypothetical a while ago I said if it was as simple as you made it seem I would kill the one to save the many but no matter how you phrase it life still isn't that simple and well the henchmen go to jail because they aren't suffering from mental illnesses people like the Joker aren't evil they're sick, and there's more than just the big bads going there if you've played any of the Arkham games you would see that yourself Bruce Wayne himself was deemed crazy at one point and sent to Arkham Asylum, it's not a prison it's an Asylum for the deranged and again in the Superman storyline it does end up helping joker, and he doesn't discriminate he'll punch the poor, the crazy, the rich, the immortal, he'll punch anything he needs to, and how come the poor should be helped but the sick are a lost cause? The poor aren't crazy they choose to be evil because of the cesspool that is Gotham Batman has tried to fix it but he's no politician the most he can do is offer up his money in order to help which he does many many times he does what he can just because things go wrong doesn't mean he's at fault the same logic you're using could be used against a doctor should a doctor stop trying to cure cancer just because it keeps coming back or should he keep fighting it until a cure is found

it is simple though
joker and other bad guys keep escaping and keep killing people
so you kill the murderers to protect the innocent
tell me, when superman killed zod to save the families, are you against this, or did superman do the right this?
also "in the superman timeline" so in an alternative universe, so a multiverse so not relevant.

I didn't say timeline i was being specific for a reason I said storyline because it's just a different arc

Lamby @momoichi
timeline and story arcs are different
a timeline implies an alternative timeline, so a multiverse
joker clearly isn't cured in the latest volumes so it was a multiverse, so it isn't cannon in the main universe

i didn't say timeline and haven't you ever heard of rebirth? They reboot the comics in order to bring back characters

Also zod wasn't sick he just wanted to kill all of humanity just like when Batman killed Darkseid who wanted to kill everything
