veganism isnt a diet, a lot of people get that confused
your thinking of plant based
veganism just happens to have a plant based diet as that is the most ethical
if i eat only vegetables but buy leather, i am not vegan, i am plant based

does it count for using leather that you have not bought yourself?

I mean exclude second hand leather too..would make vegan life very inconvenient but that is the "most ethical=vegan way..right?"

so the issue is funding
you buy meat in a grocery store, you are giving money to people that torture animals
if you buy leather you do the same (i dare say leather/fur is worse then eating meat)
but that second hand shop did not buy that leather from the leather people, that shop did not harm the animals and is detached completely from the torture
it was given the leather item free
so why is it unethical to buy that item?

think second hand goods still help the sales of the main company..so buying them helps the main company
