dont think it will still break your moral of not killing a sentient being even though if you cook meat

no, a corpse is as sentiant as a rock
which is why i think eating road kill is 100% morally acceptable, albeit not that healthy

what is the difference between that meat and the normal meat you find..other than being processed better

because one was accidently killed and the other was killed for food
if you accidently run over a racoon it was an accident, its morally neutral
if you kill that racoon with a knife, that's immoral

as long as you dont kill the animal yourself..you should be able to eat anything and still be within bounds of your morality

nope, your paying someone to kill the animal for you
if i pay a dude to torture a cat for my amusement that's just as immoral as if i did the torturing myself
because either way I'm the one that caused it, incentived it

hmmm so if you get gifted a piece of meat you will be able to eat it morally?

iv actually grappled with this before (because meat is tastey)
i do not see an issue if someone buys a steak for themselves, doesn't want it, and you take it
as long as they did not buy it for you and you were entirely detached from the purchase of that meat then its fine
i could be wrong, it could still be immoral, but i cant think of how
