I'm not sure.. Ambition? Determination? The chill I get when the protagonist says: "I'm going to kill all the titans" "Absolutely irredeemable" "Delaware Smash" " I’ll take a potato chip AND EAT IT"! Some kind of strong sense of justice?

Honestly the protagonist is pretty much the last thing I look at when selecting an anime.
