My dream came with a backstory. o.o My dad was a mob boss who always wanted me to marry the guy he planned to someday take over the business. I wasn't having any of that so I ran away at 17. Fastforward 10 years later. I'm traveling with a group of 5 guys. They're my friends, but we work together doing idk what. I told them I had to go home to my dad's house. idk what was so urgent I would risk going back after a decade. When I got inside, my old fiance was there. And he refused to let me leave. So I kept running around trying to leave and he kept catching me. Finally, I escaped. I ran across the yard and through a landfill. I ran across the back of a garbage truck that was in the middle of compressing some trash and jumped to grab on to a cliff of trash in front of the truck. I couldn't hold on and almost fell, but one of my friends came out of nowhere and pulled me up. It was the one I secretly had a crush on. The ex fiance was still after me so my friend/crush suggested we climb a tree and hide until he passed by us. Then I woke up.

I tend to have dreams that I when I'm dreaming them I go "this would make a good story if I remember it when I wake up." Luckily I managed to do this time. I was a playing the role of an eldritch horror that was stripped of power and forced into a weaker humanoid body with little memory of who or what I was. I encounter a young teenage girl and I try to befriend her while fighting the urge to do dark unspeakable things to her. However, we soon learn that I was responsible for the death of her parents and a rift forms between us. I want to develop this story further into a movie or something, so be sure to tell me what you think.

I've tried to continue dreams before too! But I tried to continue it by dreaming again instead of being awake and thinking creatively. Did not work

Ooh! That reminds me. I had a lucid dream once. I was at my childhood home and went outside. I walked across the front yard to where the basketball court once was. I noticed that something didn't feel right. There was no wind. Complete silence. The world felt...stagnant. I realized I might be dreaming so I said "Okay, if I'm dreaming then a red balloon will pop out the ground right there." I pointed at the ground and a red balloon popped up from the ground. So the next natural step was for me to fly. Because I reaaally want to fly! I spent the rest of the dream flying.

There was a dream I had that I can only remember as quick flashes and barely any details at all. I can only remember me holding hands with what appeared to be a female. The next little quick flash was her running away like she had to do something very important. Important as in if nothing was done, someone could die. Then the last quick flash is of me against a wall, looking down with my hands on my face. I remember waking up from the dream crying. I wanted to sleep and dream about it again to make sense out of it. I also felt something that I never felt before. I wanted to be with that unknown girl. Like she was important to me. I still don't understand why that dream had a strong effect on me

I sometimes have dreams that play on dreams I've had on previous nights. I've contstantly have dreams where I'm somewhere and I have to walk home with me sometimes being in a stranger's house. Well the dream I had was a family confronting me about being in their house during one of those scenarios.
