next top 18 manga that arent tokyo ghoul in no order 1. Fire Punch - A tragic story about a tragic boy living in a dystopian world. The art is choppy, which i love, and while parts do drag on and can be bland, the message in morals and what it means to "live" are unique. It has some very clever fight scenes and clever planning in general. Vampire Knight - Not your typical vampire romance manga, leaning more on the supernatural side. The world building is pretty good, with a ambiguous time period which allows for some nice aesthetic, great Best Guys, and underlying mysteries with various characters.
