What's Your Top Ten List?

1.Mononoke: one hundred deep topics about cultures could be developed because of it 2. Hoozuki no Reitetsu: one hundred topics about hell in Buddhism and cultural.origins between Japan and China could be developed.Also it is funny. I knew my best online friend of mine because of it. 3.Doraemon: imagination.adventures.childhood 4.Hetalia: hilarious history and ships. I love WangYao and Ludwig. 5.Fate series: art;historical background and settings.I'd like to summon some as my servants as well. 6.12 Kingdoms: it inspired me to read I Ching and ancient idealism again.I enjoyed its storylines too. 7.Saint Seiya: childhood and shounen.My Japanese got level up because of it 8.Jigoku Shoujo: dark themes and the female protag 9.Natsume Yuujinchou: I'm a youkai hunter and I like Kamiya Hiroshi 10.Kara no kyokai: the first lightnovel I read. Shiki is pretty cool.

Due to cultural differences, I'm more into some unpopular anime...Of course I watch anime that most people like watching as well.

1. Legend of the Galactic Heroes: An amazing series for those who like space operas and political intrigue, many of the topics brought up are very relevant to today's politics actually 2. Soukyuu no Fafner: I love this series despite it being basically overlooked because got hit with the "eva clone"-label. Aside from the fact that it's totally not even close to being an eva clone. It was actually very well done and it was one of the few anime series I've watched that actually sustained a large cast of characters who I was for the most part invested in. Like man, over the two seasons and movie so far they have actually had three generations of pilots in the spotlight already. 3. School Rumble: My favorite comedy anime more or less. I loved it for the same reasons I loved fafner coincidentally. There's so many characters who are actually incredibly memorable and it doesn't really feel like a chore for the overarching plot to be put on hold a bit to see a little comedy skit or character development arc featuring side characters. 4. Fate series: I actually wasn't even sure if I wanted to list it in my top 10 anime considering what made me love Fate and typemoon so much in the first place was the VN. But I mean, it is a series I'm heavily invested in regardless. :u 5. Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu 6. Ushio to Tora 7. Irresponsible Captain Tylor 8. RahXephon 9. Zeta Gundam 10. Gundam 00 I only bothered adding descriptions to 4 things because I'm lazy. :u

Top ten list is hard to say, but I'll try. 1. Outlaw Star 2. SDF Macross 3. Golden Time 4. Birdy the Mighty Decoded 5. Black Lagoon 6. Konosuba 7. Spice and Wolf 8. Zeta Gundam 9. Gurren Laggan 10. Patlabor This is a really hard list to make honestly. I love a lot of shows, each in their own way.

Nice to see someone mention Birdy the Mighty Decode! Although Decode:02 is the great one, I never see anyone even mention Birdy. One of the best anime that no one apparently has seen xD No particular order...
