Larry Nassar. Google it. Over 100 underage female gymnasts. The victims were too scared to come forward... until years later. And when one came forward, it gave the other victims the strength to come forward too.

I hope Kavanaugh gets accepted. It's pretty silly that so many buy into this bullshit knowing that all of Ford's witnesses have testified, under the penalty of perjury, that this didn't happen. A lot of you seem to default to already thinking he's a rapist, but based on what evidence? As for sexual assault victims, I have zero pity for those who choose not to report it right away. Hell, rape kits exist to provide evidence. You're simply using your victim status to allow a rapist to run free and rape others. Human memory is extremely faulty as well and cannot be used as real evidence. As for Ford, I do not believe her story whatsoever. Who the fuck laughs and jokes while testifying about a alleged rape? This whole thing is a disgrace and will only damage the cases of future and current rape victims. Yes, cheer it on if you wish to see people start not believing sexual assault victims. Not only that, by continuing to victimize yourself you're allowing your attacker to have control of your mind for years after the fact. 3 hard to swallow words for everyone here: GET. OVER. IT. Report it IMMEDIATELY so no others suffer the same fate you did, this is something you do if you're selfless. To keep it to yourself for 30+ years and release it coincidentally timed with politics shows pure selfishness. Report it and move on, don't let the person that assaulted you retain control over your mind. It's your mind, not theirs. If anyone has a problem with this point of view, I challenge those who are screeching like monkeys to provide evidence of Kavanaugh that ISN'T simple he said/she said bullshit. I'll be waiting. I'm not quite sure how a lynching of a black person in the deep, pre-civil rights movement south is a good example of where things could possibly go. Like shit, being falsely accused of a crime isn't anything new to black people. Hell, I'll never forget this story my great grandmother told me about one of her brothers who was lynched when she was a teenager, he was accused of making advances on a white woman (just like the Emmett Till case) and some armed white men in a pickup truck came and dragged him out of their house one day, tied him to a tree, shoved a shotgun barrel into his mouth and blew his brains out. What happened to Emmet Till was nothing new, it was just one of the many atrocities that actually made it into the news and brought light to the type of shit that was happening to blacks and being swept under the rug for so long.. I think that was less of a "believe her, she's a victim you misogynist bigot"-thing and more of a "how dare that colored boy look at a white woman"-type of thing

Rape is obviously horrendous and I wouldn't wish it on anyone and sympathize with victims of rape, nobody should be made to feel that vulnerable and weak. No there shouldn't be a time limit, but there is sort of a limit. To be convicted you must be proven guilty beyond reasonable doubt in the UK, not sure of US law terminology. But basically there must be no doubt they are guilty due to the innocent until proven guilty view we have. Therefore the longer you stay quiet the lower the chances of convicting someone. However, there is an argument of people who pass away and can't defend themselves, what happens if they are accused? I really dislike stat sites claiming 'x number of non-reported rapes' since they are not reported so there is no evidence suggesting that, it's just a magical number they feel like throwing in. Also a little of topic but; Think about this: a man and woman are both drunk. They end up back at a motel and have sex. One of them claims that they have been raped but are too scared to come forth. who is it? Most of you assume the girl which is one of the problems I have with rape, it's always female focused though it is changing over-time. I did some searching and found out something truly disturbing about the UK. The Sexual offences act 2003 defines rape as; (1)A person (A) commits an offence if— (a)he intentionally penetrates the vagina, anus or mouth of another person (B) with his penis, (b)B does not consent to the penetration, and (c)A does not reasonably believe that B consents. Now the sharp-eyed people have noticed this is insinuating only a man can rape?!

Oh gee i bet when they told on that larry guy i bet he killed those 100 gymnasts. I can clearly see my logic is flawed thanks so much for clearing things up man. 無名: Beating a guy to death over false allegations is exactly what happened. If we continue this line of bullshit we WILL regress to those days, except now ALL men will now have to deal with the possibility of being beaten to death over false allegations. This is 100% where this "BELIEVE WOMEN" shit will lead us. Lives WILL be destroyed over lies. The second we drop the presumption of innocence until proven guilty, our rule of law starts to erode.
